FC Dallas acquire Shaq Moore from Nashville SC
TRANSFER MONITORING STATUS: Trade
- DAL receives: Shaq Moore
- NSH receives: Up to $150,000 in GAM
The clubs announced Friday that FC Dallas had acquired USMNT right back Shaq Moore from Nashville SC.
Nashville will receive $50,000 in general allocation money and could earn up to $100,000 in additional GAM if Moore meets certain performance metrics.
Moore joined Nashville in 2022 from Spanish club CD Tenerife and has made 83 appearances in all competitions, contributing 2g/14a. He also has 19 senior caps for the United States men’s national team, scoring his first international goal in a 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup match against Canada.
The move gives FC Dallas a two-way threat at the back as it continues a bounce-back season under first-year head coach Eric Quill, who was hired this offseason to replace the departed Nico Estévez.
Dallas will open its 2025 campaign on February 22 at Texas rival Houston Dynamo FC (8:30 p.m. ET | MLS Season Pass).
