Roki Sasaki could break baseball by taking surprise team up on their advantage

Ruki Sasaki isn't the best pitcher available in free agency, but he's the best deal. Sasaki is only 23 years old, so he would sign with the highest bidder with a prospect mentality. Of course, there are some conditions.

First, Sasaki is not eligible for a contract like Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who signed a 12-year, $325 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers last winter. Sasaki will be signed with additional international money, as he is still considered an amateur at 23 years old. His deal is likely to reach $7.5 million per season.

For once, this gives small market teams an advantage they wouldn't have otherwise. Teams like the Tigers White Soxthe Twins and more are preparing the pitches for the NPB star, where they will show off their ability to develop pitchers. Sasaki must be totally concerned about this, because he's hardly a finished product at this point in his career.

Sasaki is not serious about winning if he picks the White Sox. However, he will not be restricted for 12 years like Yamamoto. It could be worth considering.
